The Evidence Store 2022/2023
“Over 10,000 unique page views of the early years content on the first day!” EEF Comms Team
“The response from early years practitioners has been overwhelmingly positive. ” EEF Comms Team
“28.9k views of the Early Years Evidence Store since the launch in February 2023.”
“It is an exceptional bit of work and so important from a mission perspective. But also an incredibly challenging area to enter into - a very different sector and with its own heated debates and challenges. To have done so with such a high quality set of materials and content - remarked on by people across the board - is fantastic and testament to a genuinely impressive cross organisational endeavour. And it now gives us such a great platform for enhanced impact in this area.”
Dear Louise,
I wanted to extend my sincere thanks for your role as Early Years Content Specialist at the Education Endowment Foundation from June 2022 to August 2023.
During a challenging year for early years settings, you played a vital role in helping ensure that the work of the EEF was high quality, authentic and recognised the changing needs of the range of settings, so that what we developed and shared was sensitive and successful. The development of the EEF’s Evidence Store and associated training, particularly on PSED and Early Literacy themes, reflects your contribution to actionable messages and resources.
In addition to the Early Years Content Campaign, your work cross team with EEF colleagues has been greatly valued. The innovative work in planning and filming early years video is a particular highlight. This work has been well received by colleagues and will continue to grow as Stronger Practice Hubs share with their networks.
You have helped us to sustain positive working relationships with individuals in the education system and helped to build an innovative platform for future content too.

“A confident piece which provides a key potential contribution to the field both in terms of research and professional practice. Many congratulations.”
“This is a critical, reflective, and analytical piece of work. There is a clear and confident awareness of the literature which is reported in a critical and scholarly way. The research methodology is detailed and effectively executed and there is clear evidence of the application of the learning to professional practice. This is a very well written research project which demonstrates a well-developed capacity for academic and scholarly inquiry.”
